The 13th Cycle: Terra Branford
In Dissidia Final Fantasy, Terra is free of Kefka's hold and has no memory of the previous cycle where she fought on the side of Chaos. Terra finds herself partnered with Onion Knight (Final Fantasy III) on their quest to find their respective crystals. At some part of their quest, Terra ends up losing control and wreaks havoc in her esper form. She ends up hurting the Onion Knight, but when she wakes up she has no memory of losing control, and the Onion Knight, being kind, doesn't tell her about her loss of control. That doesn't stop Kefka from being the sadistic scumbag he is from telling her though.
Kefka finally tells her what she did and calls her "destruction incarnate", much to her dismay. Cloud eventually finds her as she is just about to lose control again and silently offers to be her punching bag even though she tells him to get away. Once the fight is over, Cloud tells her his reasons and the two of them go off together in search of the Onion Knight.
