Why Them?

Firion & LightningWhy do I like their relationship? Simply put, their interactions are really cute. Lightning seems to really soften around Firion, the soft-spoken and brave young warrior. Heck, Firion even manages to get her to smile a time or two. Though admittedly, both smiles were just a brief upturn of the lips, but they still count as smiles. :) I also think that Firion really admires Lightning, though whether that is simply as a fellow warrior or not is something that I can't really tell.

Firion and Lightning are comrades in arms fighting for the same cause, but I can also see them as friends or maybe even something more than friends, given the chance. Sadly, the something more isn't very likely due to their circumstances, mainly that they literally come from "two different worlds". The only way their relationship could progress to love (as either friends or lovers) is if they were either able to travel to eachother's worlds or were trapped in that one world where they have to battle the manakins and other baddies indefinitely.
